Measures water flow in real time and delivers input signal to Controller to allow monitoring of herd drinking pattern and deliver dosage at the appropriate level throughout the day.

CH4Guard Controller
The CH4Guard analyses water flow and controls dosing of methane inhibitor to deliver precise herd dose every day through water as animals are drinking. All data is recorded and stored in secure cloud database for independent verification of on-farm enteric methane mitigation activity. Can deliver up to six different supplements, concurrently or sequentially, as required. Can also alert farm to abnormal water flows using push notifications and alarms

4g Modems using global IOT provider to enable transfer of data for storage and remote access to system from mobile or portal. Connected by LAN to CH4Guard – where there is no 4G signal farm LAN or Satellite Internet provider may be used.

CH4Guard feature multiple PIN protected input methods for animal numbers, dose rates and alarms. All features are accessible through the CH4Guard App and desktop portal also.

This ensures that treated water flows to livestock paddocks or sheds and does not backflow towards water sources.
